COYOTES TAKE PART IN 'RED RIBBON WEEK'

KEITH BALLARD, HOWLER AND PACK GIRLS TO VISIT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO PROMOTE 'KIDS STAYING OFF DRUGS'

Tuesday, October 24th, 9:30 A.M.

Phoenix Coyotes President and COO Douglas Moss announced today that Coyotes defenseman Keith Ballard, Howler and members of The Pack dance squad will visit Rio Vista Elementary School in Avondale Tuesday morning, October 24th at 9:30 A.M. The school is having an assembly promoting 'Kids Staying Off Drugs' and the Coyotes are there to help support the cause. Rio Vista is located at 10237 W. Encanto Boulevard in Avondale.

This week, the school is promoting 'Red Ribbon Week,' a time to pledge to live a safe and drug free life. Throughout the week, the students will be tying red ribbons on fences and having a door decorating contest.

Ballard and members of the Coyotes organization will speak during the assembly and take part in a Q&A segment. The students will also be able to get autographs and take pictures with Ballard, Howler and The Pack dancers.
