COYOTES TAKE HOME FOUR ADDYS AT ANNUAL ADVERTISING COMPETITION

GLENDALE, Ariz. --- The Phoenix Coyotes and Blind Society, a Valley-based consumer marketing agency, earned four American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards Saturday at the 23rd Annual Phoenix ADDY Awards in Scottsdale.
“The Coyotes are proud to have our work recognized alongside all of the other nominees,” said Phoenix Coyotes Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Michael Bucek. “The creativity from our partners at Blind Society helped us think outside the box to develop marketing ideas that produced laughs and, more importantly, results.”
The ADDYs are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising.
The Coyotes and Blind Society were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze ADDYs for the following advertising initiatives:
Gold ADDY – Online Micro Site: Coyotes “Hockey Face” Site Silver ADDY – Nontraditional Advertising: Coyotes “Hockey Face” Mirror Cling Bronze ADDY – Internet Commercial: Coyotes “Checking Line” Viral Video Bronze ADDY – Outdoor Campaign: Coyotes “Hockey HQ” Bus Backs
“It’s great to be recognized for ideas that are not the expected traditional marketing tactics,” said Jim Clark, creative visionary of Blind Society. “It’s takes great clients to do great work, and the partnership between the Phoenix Coyotes and Blind Society is a perfect example of that.”
Out of 770 entries submitted by Valley advertising agencies and design firms, the judges awarded 68 Gold, 75 Silver and 69 Bronze ADDY Awards.
