Coyotes Sign O'Brien to One-Year Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Liam O'Brien to a one-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 26-year-old O'Brien registered 0-3-3 with 40 penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games with the Colorado Avalanche in 2020-21. He also posted 4-4-8 with 15 PIM in 12 contests with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) this season.
The 6-foot-1, 213-pound O'Brien has totaled 1-4-5 and 68 PIM in 29 career NHL games with the Avalanche and Washington Capitals.
The Halifax, NS native has also collected 67-78-145 and 653 PIM in 382 career AHL contests.
O'Brien originally signed as a free agent with Washington on October 6, 2014.
