GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed center Jack McBain to a two-year entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 22-year-old McBain registered a team-leading 19-14-33 with 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 24 games this season with Boston College (NCAA). He also scored six power-play goals (PPG) and a team-high four game-winning goals (GWG) and totaled 10 multi-point games including a hat trick (3-0-3) vs. Maine on Nov. 18, 2021. McBain was selected to the NCAA (Hockey East) Second All-Star Team this season and named the Hockey East Player of the Month in October.
The 6-foot-4, 211-pound center set collegiate career highs in goals, points, shots (81), PPGs and GWGs in 2021-22. McBain has totaled 37-49-86 in 117 career games with Boston College and served as an alternate captain his last two seasons.
The Toronto, ON native represented Team Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics where he collected 1-1-2 in five games.
McBain was drafted by the Wild in the third round (63rd overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Coyotes from the Wild in exchange for a 2022 second round draft choice on March 21, 2022.
