GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Johan Larsson to a two-year, one-way contract. As per Club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"We are very pleased to sign Johan," said Armstrong. "He is a hard-working, reliable, two-way center who can play in all situations."
The 28-year-old Larsson recorded 6-12-18 and 26 penalty minutes (PIM) in 62 games with the Buffalo Sabres in 2019-20. His 18 points were an NHL career high.
The 5-foot-11, 204-pound Larsson finished the regular season fifth on the Sabres and second among forwards with 85 hits.
The Lau, SE native has totaled 38-59-97 and 190 PIM in 393 career NHL games with the Sabres and Minnesota Wild.
Larsson was drafted by the Wild in the second round (56th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
