Coyotes Sign Hutton to One-Year Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed goaltender Carter Hutton to a one-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 6-foot, 208-pound Hutton registered a 3.47 goals against average (GAA) and an .886 save percentage (SV%) in 13 games with the Buffalo Sabres in 2020-21.
The 35-year-old Hutton posted a career-best 2.09 GAA and .931 SV% in 32 games with the St. Louis Blues in 2017-18. He led all NHL goalies in both GAA and SV% that season.
The Thunder Bay, ON native has totaled a 94-88-27 record with a 2.71 GAA and a .909 SV% in 232 career NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, Blues and Sabres.
