Coyotes Sign Fischer to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Christian Fischer to a three-year, entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.


The 18-year-old Fischer recorded 31-33-64 in 66 games with the U.S. Under-18 team in 2014-15. He ranked fifth on the team in points and third in goals. The 6-foot-1, 212-pound native of Wayne, Illinois won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2015 Under-18 World Junior Championship where he registered 1-7-8 in seven games.

Fischer was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (32nd overall) in the 2015 Entry Draft. Watch a video of Christian Fischer answer questions after being selected by the Coyotes below.
