Coyotes Sign Dauphin to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Laurent Dauphin to a three-year entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Dauphin has registered 1-4-5 and four penalty minutes (PIM) in four games with Chicoutimi (QMJHL) this season. The 19-year-old native of Repentigny, Quebec City recorded 24-30-54 and 56 PIM in 52 games with the Sagueneens in 2013-14. He ranked first on the team in points, assists and goals.

Dauphin was selected by the Coyotes in the second round (39th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
