Coyotes Sign Dahlbeck to One-Year Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Klas Dahlbeck to a one-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 24-year-old Dahlbeck registered 2-6-8 with 28 penalty minutes (PIM) in 71 games with the Coyotes last season and has collected 3-9-12 with 36 PIM in 94 career NHL games with the Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks.

Dahlbeck led the team and all NHL rookies with 178 hits and finished fourth on the Coyotes with 76 blocked shots.

The Katrineholm, Sweden native was originally drafted in the third round (79th overall) by the Blackhawks in the 2011 Entry Draft.
