SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Josh Brown to a two-year contract. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We are excited to have Josh join the Coyotes," said Armstrong. "He is a big, strong, physical defenseman who will add experience and toughness to our blue line next season."
The 28-year-old Brown recorded six assists and 37 penalty minutes (PIM) in 52 games with the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins in 2021-22.
The London, ON native registered an NHL career-high eight points (3-5-8) in a career-best 56 games with the Florida Panthers in 2019-20.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound defenseman has totaled 4-13-17 with 134 PIM in 171 career NHL games with the Bruins, Senators and Panthers.
Brown was originally drafted by the Panthers in the sixth round (152nd overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft.
