GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goaltender Marek Langhamer from the Springfield Falcons, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).
The 21-year-old Langhamer posted a 7-9-2 record with a .883 save percentage (SV%) and 3.80 goals against average (GAA) in 19 games with Springfield. The Moravska Trebova, Czech Republic native also played in eight games with Rapid City (ECHL) and had a 5-2-1 record with .935 save percentage and 2.23 GAA.
Langhamer spent the three previous seasons with Medicine Hat (WHL) and had a career record of 82-53-10 in 149 games which includes playoffs. He was drafted by the Coyotes in the seventh round (184th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
