Coyotes Recall Langhamer, Assign Treutle to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goalie Marek Langhamer and assigned goalie Niklas Treutle to the Springfield Falcons, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 21-year-old Langhamer posted a 6-6-1 record with a .885 save percentage (SV%) and 3.52 goals against average (GAA) in 13 games with Springfield. The Moravska Trebova, Czech Republic native also played in eight games with Rapid City (ECHL) and registered a 5-2-1 record with a .935 SV% and 2.23 GAA.

Langhamer spent the three previous seasons with Medicine Hat (WHL) and had a career record of 82-53-10 in 149 games which includes playoffs. He was drafted by the team in the seventh round (184th overall) in the 2012 Entry Draft.

The 24-year-old Treutle was 0-1-0 with a .750 SV% in two games with the Coyotes.
