Coyotes Recall Capobianco and Fischer from Tucson

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that forward Christian Fischer and defenseman Kyle Capobianco have been recalled from the Tucson Roadrunners, the Coyotes American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

The 22-year-old Fischer registered 11-7-18 and 27 penalty minutes (PIM) in 71 games with the Coyotes last season. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound native of Chicago, IL has recorded 29-25-54 and 41 PIM in 157 career NHL games.

Fischer was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (32nd overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

The 22-year-old Capobianco has played in three games with the Coyotes over the past two seasons. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound native of Mississauga, ON registered 7-25-32 and 51 PIM in 40 games with the Roadrunners in 2018-19.

Capobianco was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the third round (63rd overall) of the 2015 Entry Draft.
