Coyotes Recall Boedker from AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled left wing Mikkel Boedker from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.

In 31 games with the Rampage this season, the 5-foot-11, 205 pound Boedker has recorded 8-18-26 and 8 penalty minutes. Boedker leads the Rampage in assists (18) and is tied for third on the team in scoring (26 points).

Last season, the 21-year-old native of Brondby, Denmark played 64 games with the Rampage, registering 11-27-38 and 4 penalty minutes. He also played 14 games with the Coyotes collecting 1-2-3.Boedker was drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (8th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Coyotes also announced today that left wing Taylor Pyatt suffered an upper body injury in Monday night's game versus the Pittsburgh Penguins and has been place on the injured reserve list.

Goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov is listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury.
