Coyotes Recall Boedker, Ebbett from AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled left wing Mikkel Boedker and center Andrew Ebbett from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.

The 5-foot-11, 195 pound Boedker has played 9 games with the Coyotes this season, recording 0-2-2 and 2 penalty minutes. In 36 games with the Rampage, Boedker has collected 12-22-34 and 8 penalty minutes. He ranks third among all Rampage players in points, tied for third in assists and fourth in goals.

The 21-year-old native of Brondby, Denmark was drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (8th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The 5-foot-9, 174 pound Ebbett has played 8 games with the Coyotes this season, registering 1-0-1 and 2 penalty minutes. In 37 games with the Rampage, Ebbett has recorded 11-27-38 and 12 penalty minutes. He leads the Rampage in assists and ranks second in points.

The 28-year-old native of Vernon, B.C., was signed by the Coyotes as a free agent on July 2, 2010.

The Coyotes will travel to San Jose to meet the Sharks on Feb. 1, then return to the Valley for three home games versus the Vancouver Canucks (Feb. 2), Minnesota Wild (Feb. 5) and Colorado Avalanche (Feb. 7).
