COYOTES RE-ASSIGN HOGGAN TO AHL

Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have re-assigned forward Jeff Hoggan to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Hoggan, 31, has appeared in four games with the Coyotes this season. He has also recorded 6-10-16 and 23 penalty minutes (PIM) in 31 games with San Antonio this season. Last season, the 6-foot-1, 193-pound Hoggan appeared in four games with the Coyotes and registered an assist. He also collected 22-13-35 and 64 PIM in 60 games with the Rampage and led the team in goals. In 107 career NHL games with St. Louis, Boston and the Coyotes, Hoggan has collected 2-9-11 and 76 PIM. He has also played in 373 career AHL games with Houston, Worcester, Providence and San Antonio, recording 104-90-194 and 361 PIM.

A native of Hope, British Columbia, Hoggan signed as a free agent with the Coyotes on July 15, 2008.
