COYOTES AND 93.3 KDKB TEAM UP TO BRING COYOTES FANS ENHANCED LISTENING EXPERIENCE
Radio listeners to Phoenix Coyotes games on 93.3 KDKB will be able to hear Thursday night's home finale in new and improved sound, as the radio partners for Coyotes games have found an innovative way to enrich the listening experience for fans in stereo sound.
As the only professional sports team in the Phoenix market with games on the FM band, the Coyotes have worked with Skyview Satellite, Fox Sports Net Arizona, and 93.3 KDKB to develop a new system for delivering "enhanced ice-level sound." Fans will hear an unmistakable difference in the sound quality, highlighted by the crisp sound of blades cutting across the ice, tape-to-tape passes, and bone-crushing hits.
"We're working to improve the quality of the Coyotes broadcasts, and the 'enhanced ice level sound' is certainly a major upgrade for fans," said Bob Weaver, Station Manager for 93.3 KDKB. Michael Bucek, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Coyotes added, "We encourage fans coming to Glendale Arena tomorrow night to bring along a radio and headset to experience the enhancement. Fans who can't make it to the game should tune in on their car or home stereo system. We think they'll agree that the quality of the listening experience is incredible."
Fans can sample the broadcast on 93.3 KDKB radio during the next Coyotes game, Thursday, April 13 versus the Los Angeles Kings.
