GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Coyotes President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc announced today that the Coyotes have hired John Knebel as the Club's new Executive Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Premium Seating. Knebel, who will report to Coyotes' COO Ari Segal, will oversee all of the team's corporate partnership and premium sales, service, activation, and fulfillment activity.

Knebel joins the Coyotes from the Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB) where from 2015-2016, he served as the Club's Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and was responsible for generating new team revenue by creating strategic partnerships with regional, national and multinational corporations.
Prior to that, Knebel worked four years (2010-2014) with the Washington Nationals (MLB) organization as the team's VP/Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships and Business Development. In this role, Knebel oversaw all corporate partnership sales, service and activation functions for the team.
From 2007-2009, Knebel served as the Vice President of Marketing Partnerships for Intersport, Inc., where he led business development efforts for privately held sports television, live event and experiential marketing company. Knebel was responsible for the development and sales of client-specific branded content and fully integrated marketing campaigns consisting of retail, digital, event and hospitality. While with Intersport, Inc., Knebel created and sold new activation programs to Cadillac (PGA Tour), Allstate (Allstate Sugar Bowl), Right Guard (NBAAll-Star Game), Chase and Nike.
Previously, Knebel worked for IEG as the company's Vice President of Valuation Services (2004-2007) and the Coca-Cola Company where he was a Senior International Account Executive from 1999-2001. In addition, Knebel was the Director of Corporate Development for Mandalay Entertainment from 1997-1999 and a Senior Manager of New Business Development for the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1995-1997.
