Coyotes Kids Day Matinee Set For Jan. 17

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Kids of all ages can have an afternoon full of fun with the Coyotes at Kid’s Day on Monday, January 17 when the Coyotes host the San Jose Sharks at Arena. The special matinee start time for the game will be 2 p.m.

The first 5,000 kids 13 and under who attend the game will receive a free Coyotes backpack courtesy of AT&T. Radio Disney AM1580 and their Road Crew will be on the Arena plaza starting at 12:30 p.m. with music, games and tons of prizes. Kids will also have a chance to show off their play-by-play radio skills to be entered into ESPN’s The Weekend Sweepstakes, which includes the chance to win a trip to Disney World.

Coyotes’ mascot Howler will be on the plaza from 1 to 1:30 p.m. posing for fan photos and will also be available for an autograph session in the arena during the second intermission. The team’s Paw Patrol will also be on the plaza during pregame festivities, signing autographs and helping kids create free signs to showcase at the game.

“We are very pleased to offer a matinee game for our young fans in the Valley,” said Coyotes Vice President of Marketing and Communication Jim Brewer. “Kid’s Day is a great way for families to get together and enjoy Coyotes hockey at Arena, especially with the added value available through our Coyotes Family Fun Pack.”
