PHOENIX COYOTES ROLL INTO TUCSON
TO GIVE OUT AWARDS AND HOST A CLINIC
The Phoenix Coyotes and their mascot, Howler, are taking Tucson by storm Tuesday, July 11. Howler will be present to give awards at the Arizona Governor's Conference on Tourism at 11:45 A.M. at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. The Coyotes and Tucson Ice are helping locals beat the heat in the afternoon with a clinic on the ice at Tucson Ice at 3:00 P.M. The Resort is located at 7000 N. Resort Dr. and Tucson Ice is located at 7333 E. Rosewood St.
The clinic will last for one hour and is for beginner hockey players ages four to 12 from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Staff putting on the clinic will be from Tucson Ice and the Phoenix Coyotes. Kids just need to bring their skates.
Along with the clinic instruction, the Coyotes will have interactive inflatables, as well as an appearance on the ice by Howler. Coyotes staff will also provide information on season tickets, group events and programs.
Tucson Ice is an 87,000 square foot, twin NHL-size ice surface family entertainment center. The ice rink offers a full range of learning to skate, figure skating and hockey programs for ice sports enthusiasts of all ages.
