The Phoenix Coyotes today hosted their first-ever live Web-chat on PhoenixCoyotes.com. Coyotes fans had the chance to participate in a live question-and-answer session with team President and Chief Operating Officer Douglas Moss and General Manager Don Maloney from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
“Today’s live Web-chat was a great way for us to connect with fans and answer the questions that are important to them,” said Moss. “We appreciate the tremendous interest our fans have in the Coyotes, and we plan to host more of these live chats throughout the summer.”
During the hour-long chat session, Moss and Maloney answered nearly 50 questions from fans, including updates from Maloney on the status of free agents on the Coyotes’ roster and his thoughts on the drafting of highly-regarded prospect Brandon Gormley
. In addition, Moss discussed plans for next season and the improvement of ticket sales for the 2010-11 campaign. Fans submitted nearly 400 questions during the chat.
