GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Coyotes President & CEO Xavier Gutierrez announced today that the Coyotes have hired Tania Moreno as the team's new Senior Vice President of Marketing. In her role, Moreno will oversee all marketing and social media for the club.
Moreno joins the Coyotes from PetSmart where she served as the company's Dog Customer Marketing Lead since April 2019. In this role, she oversaw integrated and customer marketing for PetSmart's exclusive services offerings including Grooming, PetsHotel and Training.

Before her time at PetSmart, Moreno spent over six years with Mattel Inc. in Los Angeles. She served as Global Senior Marketing Manager while working extensively in the Hot Wheels and Barbie marketing areas. She led all digital initiatives globally including Asia, Latin America and Europe, for the number one best-selling toy in the world (Hot Wheels). Additionally, Moreno was part of the team that helped rebrand Barbie. She also held the roles of Digital Marketing Manager and Manager of Digital Analytics and Social Listening at Mattel.
Moreno also spent time with CBS Sports as the company's Senior Marketing Manager where she was awarded top social manager in sports by Google. She partnered with broadcast and digital teams to integrate social media elements on air for The Masters, March Madness and NFL on CBS, which resulted in incremental ad revenue. Moreno also guided social strategy for the Emmy award-winning series "Game of Honor".
Moreno also previously worked at the Burger King Corporation as Brand Marketing Manager.
The Miami, Florida native graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville before earning her M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
