COYOTES HIRE GOSSELIN AS AMATEUR SCOUT

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have hired Norm Gosselin as an amateur scout.

Gosselin joins the Coyotes after spending the past five seasons with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). After joining the Saint John organization as Head Scout in 2005, Gosselin was promoted to Director of Player Personnel in 2009 and helped build a team that advanced to the 2010 QMJHL Finals.

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Gosselin has worked in the QMJHL for over 20 years in various capacities. Formerly the General Manager and Head Coach of the Sherbrooke Castors/Lewiston MAINEiacs, Gosselin also worked for the Val-d’Or Foreurs, Shawinigan Cataractes, and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles during his lengthy career in QMJHL management/coaching.
