PHOENIX COYOTES COLLECT TOYS DECEMBER 15
FOR MARINE CORPS TOYS FOR TOTS CAMPAIGN
GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes are teaming up with the Marine Corps' Reserves for their 58th annual Toys for Tots campaign to assist in collecting new, unwrapped toys. During the Thursday, December 15, Coyotes game at Glendale Arena, the Marines will accept toys for needy children. In appreciation for donating a new gift, every contributor will receive a $5 coupon to be used at the Coyotes Den gift shop at the Glendale Arena.
"We are proud to work with the Marine Corps on such a worthwhile and much needed holiday program", said Douglas Moss, President and COO of the Phoenix Coyotes. "Our fans are very generous and the Coyotes are very dedicated to getting involved in such a meaningful program."
Since 1947, the Marines have filled the dreams of over 150 million disadvantaged children during the holiday season. Your Phoenix Marine Corps Reserve's Bulk Fuel Company C is coordinating the Coyotes Toys for Tots program this season. "A shiny new toy sends a message to a needy a child that someone cares; that he/she hasn't been forgotten. We are pleased to partner with the Phoenix Coyotes to ensure that the magic of Christmas will be alive and well to many more children this holiday season," stated MSgt Jeffrey Wootton.
The toy collection will be one of many pre-game activities scheduled for Glendale Arena's East Plaza that night. The world famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be making a stop on their national tour. In addition, there will be a dance exhibition, a Toyota Tundra giveaway and a special appearance by the Coyotes mascot, Howler.
