Coyotes Fans Donate Toys to Local Hospital

by Staff Writer / Arizona Coyotes
GLENDALE -- Coyotes fans displayed extreme generosity last Saturday night when they helped replace stolen holiday presents intended for young patients at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Here are just some of the toys donated by Coyotes fans.
Coyotes wives and girlfriends Kristyn Yandle, Kodette LaBarbera, Julie Fuller, Danielle Dove and Christy Williams led the collection effort outside Jobing.com Arena before the game between the Coyotes and Minnesota Wild.

Fans donated dolls, stuffed animals, video games, board games and more to help undo the wrong done by some real-life Grinches who stole approximately $20,000 worth of toys intended for children with special medical needs at St. Joe’s.

“Our fans are amazing and we knew they would respond quite generously once they heard about this terrible story,” said Sarah Finecey, the team’s Director of Community Relations. “They did not disappoint us or the kids.”

In addition to donating toys, Coyotes fans also chipped in $905.39 in cash to be used to buy more toys for the kids at St. Joe’s.
