As the Phoenix Coyotes prepare for the upcoming 2007 NHL Entry Draft, will begin daily ‘scouting reports,’ looking at a three potential draftees in a new feature titled: “Coyotes Draft Preview.”

In this installment of “Coyotes Draft Preview”, takes a closer look at the 26th & 27th & ranked North American Skaters and the 3rd ranked European Skater, as compiled by Central Scouting’s Final Rankings.

Notes: Last season, scored 50 points (9 goals, 41 assists) in 6 games with Seattle...a skilled defenseman...positions himself well defensively and has god anticipation of the to skate the puck out of the zone and make good outlet passes...controls the power-play with patience and is smart with the puck...needs to improve his one-on-one containment out of the corners...needs to be more consistent with his physical presence.

Notes: Tallied 57 points (20 goals, 37 assists) in 71 games last season as a member of the Red Deer Rebels...a skilled forward that is opportunistic in the offensive very smart with the puck...has a good work ethic and excellent puck-pursuit...very versatile and used in all situations...sometimes tires at the end of a shift and needs to work on his conditioning...needs to improve his one-on-one skills.

Notes: Scored 55 points (18 goals, 37 assists) in 39 games last season...a skilled playmaking forward...has good mobility and break-away speed...controls the puck well and competes for the puck...uses his size and strength to his advantage...possesses an excellent shot with a quick release and sees the ice well...played for Denmark at the 2007 Under-18 World Championships.
