GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have claimed goaltender Harri Sateri off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 32-year-old Sateri registered a .926 save percentage (SV%), a 2.02 goals against average (GAA) and a 14-16-5 record in 38 games with Sibir Novosibirsk (KHL) in 2021-22.

The Toijala, FIN native played in the 2022 Olympics where he helped Finland capture the gold medal. He posted a 5-0-0 record with a shutout and a .962 SV% and 1.00 GAA in five appearances. Sateri also played for Finland at the 2021 World Championship where he won a silver medal and went 2-0-1 with a .955 SV% and 0.95 GAA in three games.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound netminder has recorded a .911 SV%, 2.92 GAA and a 4-4-0 record in nine career NHL games, all with the Florida Panthers in 2017-18.

Sateri was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the fourth round (106th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
