Coyotes Claim Jooris off Waivers

Arizona on Sunday added center Josh Jooris to the mix

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have claimed center Josh Jooris off waivers from the New York Rangers.

The 6-foot-1, 197-pound Jooris has recorded 1-1-2, a plus-one rating and six penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games this season. The 26-year-old native of Burlington, Ontario has totalled 17-22-39 and 61 PIM in 131 career NHL games with the Rangers and Calgary Flames. He registered a career-high 12-12-24 in 60 games with the Flames in 2014-15.

The Coyotes also assigned center Tyler Gaudet to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.
