Coyotes Charities Board Chairman and member of the Coyotes Ownership Group John Breslow announced today that Coyotes Charities will present the $100,000 Power Play Grant Award for 2006 during a pre-game ceremony Monday, December 4th, before the Coyotes face the Nashville Predators.

This year's $100,000 Power Play Grant was awarded to the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix to fund the Glendale Clubhouse Gymnasium. The gymnasium will be the focal point for sports, fitness and recreation and will serve 2200 children and teens annually.

Grants are awarded on an annual basis. With over 100 deserving applicants, Coyotes Charities was capable of supporting 31 different organizations by granting $158,500 in 2006!

Coyotes Charities seeks to enhance the quality of life throughout Arizona communities by supporting non-profit organizations that promote healthcare, education, cultural arts and sports-related programs for children.
