Phoenix Coyotes Chief Operating Officer Mike Nealy announced today that Coyotes Charities is offering local non-profit organizations and youth hockey associations the chance to secure a $10,000 grant through a ticket sales fundraising program.
As part of the Coyotes’ ongoing efforts to partner with local organizations and help them raise much-needed funds, the team will give one $10,000 grant to the organization that sells the most Coyotes tickets during the 2010-11 regular season. All partnering organizations will be able to sell the tickets at a discounted rate from the gate price. In addition, the organizations will be able to keep the difference between the discounted price and the gate price as a fundraiser, meaning all participating organizations will benefit from the program.
Depending on the amount of tickets sold, each participating organization will also have the opportunity to take part in a special Coyotes game experience, such as a Zamboni ride for one guest or a meet and greet with a Coyotes player.
All applications for the Coyotes Charities Ticket Fundraising Grant will be reviewed by the Coyotes. Each approved organization will be contacted by a Coyotes representative with further information. Applications are available at www.phoenixcoyotes.com/ticket-fundraising-grant
