Coyotes Charities, the charitable foundation of the Phoenix Coyotes, announced today the opening of the 2006 grant cycle. Grant guidelines and applications are available online at www.phoenixcoyotes.com, or can be faxed or mailed by calling 623.463.8800.
There are two grants available through Coyotes Charities: Program Grants, which are up to $5,000 each, and the first-ever Power Play Award Grant, which is a $100,000 individual grant. Grant applications must be completed and received by 5 P.M. on July 21, 2006. Coyotes Charities offices are located at 5800 W. Glenn Drive, Suite 350, Glendale, AZ, 85301. All grants will be awarded prior to the start of the 2006-07 Phoenix Coyotes season in October.
Coyotes Charities seeks to enhance the quality of life throughout Arizona communities by supporting youth and adult education programs, prevention and wellness programs, and the cultural arts. Coyotes Charities grants are awarded on an annual basis in response to applications from 501 (c)(3) classified organizations whose goals and programs meet the mission statement of Coyotes Charities.
