In support of December's Coyotes Causes being "Home for the Howlidays" month presented by Centex Homes, the Phoenix Coyotes have partnered with Centex Homes, Realty Executives and Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun, to build a home in the Arena parking lot. The build took place on Monday, December 18th followed by a dedication ceremony. Coyotes players helped out by swinging hammers and helping with the build following their morning practice.

The build took place in Lot G on the East side of Arena. The frame of the house was built on Monday, with the structure staying in Lot G all week. Prior to the Coyotes Thursday, December 21st game versus the Edmonton Oilers, fans will be able to stop by and write 'well-wishes' on the boards of the house to the family receiving the home from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. The house will then be moved to the new lot in Glendale on Friday, December 22nd.

The Dedication Ceremony included members of all of the organizations helping with the build, and the family who will be receiving the house. Jeff Shumway, Chairman and CEO of the Phoenix Coyotes, Douglas Moss, President and COO of the Phoenix Coyotes, Christine Odom, President and CEO of the Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun, Roger Gannon, Senior Vice President of Operations for Centex Homes, Rich Rector, President and CEO of Realty Executives International and Koami Kolmega, the father of the family receiving the house.

"The Coyotes are very proud and excited to be associated with such a great partnership that will bring joy and well-being to a deserving family," said Douglas Moss, President and COO of the Phoenix Coyotes.
