GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned right wing Bill Thomas to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Thomas, 24, has recorded 13-12-25 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 38 games with San Antonio this season.  He has also played in five games for the Coyotes this season.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Thomas registered 8-6-14 and 2 PIM in 24 games for the Coyotes last season.  He also appeared in 47 games for San Antonio, recording 13-20-33 and was selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game but was unable to participate due to a call-up to Phoenix.
