COYOTES ASSIGN THOMAS TO SAN ANTONIO

Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced that the Coyotes have sent right wing Bill Thomas to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) training camp. There are now 24 players remaining in the Phoenix Coyotes training camp.

 
Thomas, 24, played 24 games with the Coyotes last season, registering 8 goals, 6 assists, 14 points and 2 penalty minutes (PIM). The 6-foot-1, 185-pound forward also collected 13 goals, 20 assists, 33 points and 20 PIM with the Rampage in 2006-07.  
 
Thomas originally signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on March 27, 2006 and recorded 1 goal, 2 assists, 3 points and 8 PIM in 9 games at the end of the 2005-06 season.
