COYOTES ASSIGN ROSS AND STAAL TO JUNIOR CLUBS

GLENDALE, Ariz. --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have reduced their training camp roster by two players. There are now 51 players remaining in camp.

The following players have been assigned to their respective junior clubs:

Nick Ross (D) – Kamloops (WHL)
Jared Staal (RW) – Sudbury (OHL)

The Coyotes will play host to the Calgary Flames at 5:30 p.m. tonight at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba in their second preseason game of the year. The Coyotes’ first home preseason game will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Jobing.com Arena when they host the Anaheim Ducks. For ticket information, please call 480-563-PUCK (7825).
