Coyotes Assign Hayton to OHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that center Barrett Hayton has been assigned to Sault Ste. Marie of the Ontario Hockey League.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Peterborough, ON registered 21-39-60 and 32 penalty minutes (PIM) in 63 games with Sault Ste. Marie last season.
The 18-year-old Hayton was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (5th overall) of the 2018 Entry Draft.
