by Staff Writer / Arizona Coyotes

PHOENIX COYOTES TEAM WITH AZ COPS
TO PROMOTE KIDS SETTING GOALS BY
STARTING 'GOALIE FOR A GOAL'

Thursday, March 29th, Coyotes vs. Avalanche

The Phoenix Coyotes and goalie Mikael Tellqvist have partnered with AZ Cops and AZ Probation Officers Association to start 'Goalie for a Goal' to get kids to recognize the importance of setting goals. Schools can apply and have their students complete the Coyotes 'Goal' packet and each student that completes the information will be entered into a raffle to win a ticket for them and one parent to the Coyotes game on Thursday, March 29th.

In addition, all entries will be submitted into the Grand Prize raffle in which four lucky students will win the opportunity to be guests in the Wayne Gretzky Foundation suite for three guests and themselves. These four lucky students will also be filmed explaining the importance of goals; the video will play during the game.

Entries for the 'Goalie for a Goal' program must be postmarked by March 12th. The winners will be selected from a random raffle on March 19th.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased through the 'Goalie for a Goal' program will be donated the 100 Club to support fallen officers families. For more information, please contact Amy Pratt at 623.772.3288.
