GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Phoenix Coyotes announced today the team's 2006-07 preseason schedule. The Coyotes will play seven games, including four road contests and three home games at Glendale Arena. The Coyotes will face the Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars and Anaheim Mighty Ducks in preseason action.

The Coyotes will open the preseason schedule on the road with two games versus the Edmonton Oilers. The Coyotes will play the Oilers on Sunday, September 17 at the MTC Centre in Winnipeg and then travel to Edmonton to meet the Oilers on Tuesday, September 19 at Rexall Place. The Coyotes first home preseason game will be on Wednesday, September 20 versus the Dallas Stars. The Coyotes will play wrap up the 2006-07 preseason with two home games when they play Edmonton on Thursday, September 28 and Anaheim on Saturday, September 30.

In addition, the Coyotes will travel to San Antonio following their game on September 20th versus Dallas, and will hold training camp in San Antonio through September 23rd. The Coyotes will play an inter-squad game against the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center on Saturday, September 23rd.
