COYOTES ANNOUNCE PROCEEDS FROM 11th ANNUAL FACE-OFF LUNCHEON

AND COYOTES CHARITIES GOLF CLASSIC

Coyotes Charities Chairman John Breslow announced that Coyotes Charities raised over $139,000 in October during the team’s 11th Annual Face Off Luncheon presented by Gila River Casinos and the 11th Annual Coyotes Charities Golf Classic presented by Heritage Graphics.

Coyotes Charities seek to enhance the quality of life throughout Arizona communities by supporting non-profit organizations that promote health care, education, cultural arts and sports-related programs for children.

The Face Off Luncheon was held on Oct. 2 at Jobing.com Arena to celebrate the start of another year of hockey in the Valley.  Those attending the Luncheon had the opportunity to share a table with Coyotes players, coaches, and executives. The winners of the 2007-08 Coyotes Charities grants were also recognized at the event. In total, the Face-Off Luncheon raised over $45,000.

The Coyotes Charities Golf Classic took place on Oct. 23 at Legend Trail Golf Club, giving fans the chance to hit the links with Coyotes players, coaches and executives.  The fun-filled day, which included a dinner, auctions, raffles, and a hole-in-one contest, raised over $93,000.  The Wayne Gretzky foursome was purchased anonymously for $30,000 and donated to Luke Air Force Base.
