GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes Chief Operating Officer Mike Nealy announced today that 60 Coyotes regular season games will be televised on FOX Sports Arizona during the 2010-11 National Hockey League season, including the club’s home opener on Oct. 16 against the Detroit Red Wings.

FOX Sports Arizona will broadcast all 60 games in High Definition, with 43 games on FOX Sports Arizona HD and 17 games on its FOX Sports Arizona Plus HD channel. FOX Sports Arizona will televise 31 Coyotes home games and 29 of the team’s road games. Information on channel locations for FOX Sports Arizona Plus will be announced at a later date. In addition, five Coyotes games will be broadcast on Versus, the NHL’s national cable broadcast partner.

“We are thrilled to partner with FOX Sports Arizona for a 14th season to broadcast a comprehensive schedule of Coyotes hockey,” said Nealy. “Starting with our big opening night playoff rematch with the Red Wings, we know our fans are looking forward to a lot of exciting Coyotes action on FOX Sports Arizona this year.”

In addition to the 60 games broadcast on FOX Sports Arizona, Versus will televise five national Coyotes games this season. Versus will televise the Coyotes season opening game against the Boston Bruins from Prague, Czech Republic on October 9 as well as games against Detroit (November 8), St. Louis (December 31), San Jose (February 1) and Washington (February 14).

“We are pleased to be the television home of the Phoenix Coyotes once again,” said FOX Sports Arizona Senior Vice President & General Manager Mike Connelly. "Coyotes fans can look forward to watching all 60 games we produce in High Definition and we are excited to bring another great season of hockey to our viewers in Arizona and New Mexico.”

Coyotes’ television play-by-play announcer Dave Strader returns for his fourth season as a Coyotes broadcaster. Strader will be joined in the broadcast booth by television analyst Tyson Nash, who returns for his third season as a Coyotes broadcaster and second in the TV booth. In addition, Todd Walsh returns as host and reporter for the television broadcasts. For FOX Sports Arizona telecasts from Jobing.com Arena, the network will once again offer its 30-minute pre and post-game shows.
