GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes President and Chief Operating Officer Douglas Moss has announced that the Coyotes will raise money before and during the team’s 7 p.m. home game versus the Calgary Flames at Jobing.com Arena on Thursday, Jan. 28 for the relief efforts in Haiti following the recent earthquake. The money raised will be donated to Food for the Hungry, a non-profit organization that is providing relief response to those affected by the disaster, focusing on water and sanitation, health, shelter, protection and distribution of non-food items.

Prior to next Thursday’s game, the Coyotes players’ wives and girlfriends will hold a Dollar Drive outside Jobing.com Arena’s Gate 4 and Gate 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. During the game, the Coyotes Community Table, located outside section 115, will auction off a luxury suite for 12 people for a future home game, as well as autographed Coyotes memorabilia. In addition, Facility Merchandising, Inc. (FMI), which manages and operates the Coyotes Den Team Store, will donate 10% of its non-discounted sales from the evening to the cause.

Coyotes fans can also donate to Food for the Hungry by texting the word “QUAKE” to 85944. The team will also observe a moment of silence to honor the victims of the Haiti earthquake prior to the game.
