GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Arizona Coyotes and 102.5 KNIX are proud to announce that Grammy-nominated country music duo, Thompson Square, will headline the second show of the Coyotes Concert Series. The Country Music Award winners will play a post-game concert for all fans in attendance at the Coyotes game versus the Minnesota Wild on Saturday, December 13 at Gila River Arena. 102.5 KNIX is the Valley's New Country and five time winner of the Country Music Association's (CMA) Award for Major Market Radio Station of the Year.

"We are very pleased to continue the Coyotes Concert Series with Thompson Square performing following our game against the Wild on December 13," said Coyotes Co-Owner, President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc. "Thompson Square is a Grammy-nominated country duo and we encourage all our fans to stay after the game to enjoy their great music."

The husband and wife pair, Keifer and Shawna Thompson, who arrived in Nashville the same week (Keifer from Oklahoma, Shawna from Alabama), met almost immediately at a singing competition and have been inseparable since. Their first self-titled album was powered by a trio of hit singles including the No. 1 double-platinum-selling "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" as well as "I Got You" and "Glass". Their fifth single, "If I Didn't Have You", made its chart debut in late 2012 and reached number one on the Country Airplay chart in May 2013. The duo wrote this song with Sellers and Jenkins. It's the lead single to their second Stoney Creek album, "Just Feels Good", released on March 26, 2013. The album's second single, "Everything I Shouldn't Be Thinking About", became the duo's fourth Top 10 hit in 2014.

Thompson Square swept the 2012 Vocal Duo awards (CMA, ACM, CMT and ACA). Their hit "Kiss" was the most-heard song at country radio in 2011 and secured multiple-week runs atop the sales and ringtone charts as well as two GRAMMY nominations. Major media (Leno, Kimmel, Conan and more) and major tours (Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan) put them in front of tens of millions of viewers and two million concert goers. Thompson Square is also the only established married duo to ever receive CMA Vocal Duo of the Year honors. Keifer and Shawna Thompson's hot streak continued when they won the ACM Vocal Duo of the Year honors for the 2nd consecutive year in April 2013.
