On Saturday, the Phoenix Coyotes held a "Chill out with the Coyotes" fan event that featured a series of stops around the Valley.  Children under 12 years of age were given the chance to dig through a two-ton mound of snow in search of prizes.

The event took place at three Valley Fry's Marketplace locations at 8900 E. Via Linda in Scottsdale, 3949 E. Chandler Blvd. in Phoenix and 13982 W. Waddell Rd. in Surprise.

Each visit to the Fry's Marketplace Stores will feature a two-ton mound of snow, which will be dumped on the ground.  Hidden inside the 2000-pound mound of snow will be 51 hockey pucks.  Children ages 12 and under will have the chance to dig through the snow and try to find one of the hidden pucks.

Children who found one of 51 black pucks received two free tickets to the Coyotes game on Saturday, October 1, 2005 vs. The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.  The lucky finder of the golden puck received a Coyotes youth jersey signed by Coyotes Head Coach, Wayne Gretzky.

The event also gave fans a chance to interact with members of the Coyotes organization including Coyotes President & COO Doug Moss, Coyotes Television Play-by-Play broadcaster Curt Keilback, Coyotes Radio Play-by-Play broadcaster Bob Heethuis and Coyotes Radio Color Commentator Louie DeBrusk.
"Chill out with the Coyotes will make one final stop on Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Tempe Town Lake in Downtown Tempe at the Way Out West Oktoberfest.   Fans looking to attend can go to Rio Salado and Mill Ave. (ESPN Zone, west of the main stage) in Tempe from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
