Breakfast with the Coyotes - Coyotes to host viewing party for 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere™

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Phoenix Coyotes will partner with the Ice Den’s 18° Neighborhood Grill to host a viewing party for the Coyotes’ 2010-11 season opener against the Boston Bruins. The game will be played at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. Arizona time. 18° will open its doors to fans at 8:30 a.m. to watch the game live on Versus.

The viewing party will feature great prizes, including tickets to upcoming Coyotes home games and autographed team merchandise, as well as appearances by Howler and the Paw Patrol. 18° will offer a special all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet for Coyotes fans during the event. 18° Neighborhood Grill is located inside the Ice Den at 9375 East Bell Road in North Scottsdale.

“We are honored to have been selected by the NHL for this special opening of the season in Europe and know our fans are excited about it, as well,” said Coyotes VP of Marketing and Communications Jim Brewer. “This viewing party offers everyone a chance to get together, have a great breakfast, and root on the Pack as they battle the Bruins in Prague.”

The Coyotes will wrap up their two-game series against Boston on Sunday, Oct. 10. The game will not be televised locally; however both games will be broadcast on the Coyotes Radio Network flagship station XTRA 910AM with play-by-play from Bob Heethuis.

The Phoenix Coyotes are among an unprecedented six NHL teams, including the Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild and San Jose Sharks that will open the 2010-11 NHL regular season by playing six games in Europe as part of 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere™ and NHL Face-Off™.

The Coyotes’ 2010-11 home schedule begins Saturday, Oct. 16 when they host the Detroit Red Wings at Arena at 6:00 p.m. in a rematch of Round 1 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
