GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Arizona Coyotes announced today a rink partnership with Hill Hockey and the Arizona Made Ice Forum in Mesa. The new one sheet hockey facility will be open to the public in October and will serve as the official training facility and home arena for the Arizona Kachinas girls and women's hockey program.

"The Arizona Coyotes are committed to the community, building fandom and providing fans of all ages, race, sex and ethnicity with the opportunity to play the great game of hockey," said Coyotes President & CEO Xavier Gutierrez. "Increasing the participation in girls and women's hockey is one of our top priorities, so investing in a new Valley hockey rink that is dedicated to this initiative made sense for us. We are thrilled to partner with Hill Hockey and look forward to the growth of girls and women's hockey with the opening of this new facility."

"The Arizona Made Ice Forum is thrilled to have the Arizona Kachinas as our main tenant," said Eddie Hill, Owner of the Arizona Made Ice Forum. "Kelly and I have a very strong passion for girls & women's ice hockey and this partnership is a match made in heaven. The Arizona Coyotes have a strong commitment level to the community and growing the game which is second to none in the National Hockey League. We couldn't be happier with our new partnership!"

The Arizona Made Ice Forum increases the total number of ice rinks in Arizona to nine and the number of ice sheets available for hockey players in the Copper State to 14.

"This will be the first Valley rink to be heavily focused on girls hockey," said President of the Arizona Kachinas Hockey Association and former U.S. Olympian Lyndsey Fry. "Female hockey players across Arizona now have a place to call their own and I am so proud that the Kachinas will have a home where they are the number one priority. We hope to hang many championship banners from the rafters of this facility someday and we look forward to continuing to grow the game of hockey for girls and women in Arizona."
