by Dave Vest / Arizona Coyotes

GLENDALE – Coyotes Charities recently partnered with the Ice Den and the 100 Club of Arizona to stage a Coyotes Alumni game to raise funds for the family of Phoenix Police Detective John T. Hobbs.

Det. Hobbs, 43, who served in the Phoenix Police Department for 21 years, was killed in the line of duty on March 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Former Coyotes players including Tyson Nash, Daymond Langkow, Greg Adams and Cale Hulse took part in the game, as did players from local police departments.

Coyotes Charities is pleased to report that this event raised $8,698 for the 100 Club of Arizona to benefit the Survivors Fund in memory of Det. Hobbs.

Thank you to all who attended the game and/or donated to this worthy cause.
