SuperFd was founded in Washington, D.C., by John Cosgrove and chef Robert Wood. Cosgrove founded Eco Caters DC in 2012, and chef Wood came on board soon after. Amid the rapid growth of Eco Caters, the business partners recognized an exceptionally high demand for health nutrition in professional sports through serving teams in the D.C. area. This demand quickly expanded to clients across the nation. Then, organically, SuperFd was born to build and enhance specialized catering programs for this niche market of super humans.
