Capitals Prospects Showcase Notes
The Washington Capitals will compete in a four-team prospect showcase to be held at Ford Ice Center in Antioch, Tenn., from Sept. 7-10. The 2019 Prospects Showcase will also feature top prospects from the Nashville Predators, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Carolina Hurricanes. Capitals prospects will face each team once in the round robin showcase.

The Capitals' tournament roster includes prospects who are under contract and recent Capitals draft picks who have not been signed yet. In addition, several undrafted and free agent amateur players will participate. Each game will feature three 20 minute periods, followed by a shootout, regardless of the score. Video of each game will be lived streamed by visiting WashingtonCaps.com, as well as audio only broadcasts on Caps Radio 24/7. The Capitals will also hold practice on Sept. 6 and 9, both at 11 a.m.
