Popular student tickets now available for Minnesota and Boston
ARLINGTON, Va. – Due to popular demand for the Washington Capitals’ Caps Student Rush program, the team has expanded the program to include two more home games. The new games will be Tuesday, Feb. 26, when the Capitals face the Minnesota Wild and Monday, March 3, when Washington takes on the Boston Bruins.
The Caps Student Rush program is typically available for Thursday and Friday night games and offers anyone with a valid student ID the opportunity to purchase lower level preferred section tickets for $25 or the best available mezzanine level tickets for $10 (based on availability). Recent Student Rush nights have seen more than 2,300 students in attendance. For the Feb. 8 division faceoff against the Carolina Hurricanes, Student Rush tickets sold out 30 minutes prior to puck drop.
Tickets are available to students beginning at 10 a.m. on the day of the game at the Verizon Center box office. Students are encouraged to get there early and get a good seat.
