Three Capitals Games to be on National Television

Washington, D.C. – Three Washington Capitals games will be broadcast on national television in 2006-07, NBC, OLN and the NHL announced today.


NBC will televise Washington’s game at Pittsburgh on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 3:30 p.m. ET. OLN – which will change its name to Versus on Sept. 25 – will broadcast two Capitals games: Dec. 11 vs. Pittsburgh and March 12 at Atlanta.

The Capitals’ local television schedule will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the national broadcasts in the United States, seven Capitals games will be televised nationally in Canada, CBC and TSN announced today. CBC will televise two Capitals games: Oct. 28 at Edmonton and Dec. 23 at Toronto. TSN will televise five Washington games: Dec. 6 vs. Ottawa, Dec. 27 vs. Montreal, Feb. 21 vs. San Jose, March 12 at Atlanta and April 4 at Atlanta.
